Rotor: Modular Typeface by Tori Ray

CLIENT

The AWEA Wind Power Conference & Exhibition 2015
http://www.windpowerexpo.org

This national event will take place in Orlando Florida, May 2015 and is an
opportunity to educate the public on the progress of wind energy and to update
and connect industry professionals.

ROTOR: Designed by Tori Ray
Vray284@flagler.edu

Rotor is a typeface inspired by turbine structures, and wind
pattern symbolism. This uppercase typeface caries the masculine
aspect of industry and the feminine qualities of nature.

-Uppercase letters emphasize the power of Industry.

-Modules establish a standard and balance throughout an otherwise overwhelming
typeface

-San Serif provides better clarity & readability in this decorative typeface.

-This display type is best used in Titles & Subtitles, not body text.

-Thin and repetitive lines add a feminine delicacy to the typeface. Renewable energy is
saving the planet, and therefore it is nurturing.

-To keep Rotor feeling unpredictable like the wind, the tri-lined parts are slightly
imperfect in spacing.
